Communication and Language
We like to give the children plenty of opportunities to speak to others about their experiences. Children are encouraged to listen and respond to others.
Pre-writing activities are always available including drawing, painting, collage etc.
Children learn a lot about language from stories, songs and rhymes which are included in each session - during group times we focus on set songs and stories for the half term which helps children to learn and remember the words of songs and stories - information is sent home to parents via email so they can continue to support their child's learning at home.
